Random Crashing

Delete all Scottbot temp files. Follow these steps to find and delete them:

1. Go to the top right corner of your screen and click the search icon 2. Type ~/Library into the search bar and hit enter 3. Once you're in your library folder, open Application Support -> scottbotv1 4. Delete the temp files and start Scottbot

If this doesn't fix the issue, you will need to do a complete reinstall

Fix #1:

Delete all Scottbot temp files. Follow these steps to find and delete them: 1. Go to File Explorer and type %appdata% into your directory, then hit enter 2. Scroll until you see the scottbotv1 folder. Open it, then open the logs folder, and delete all the files. 3. Run Scottbot

If this doesn't fix the issue, you will need to do a complete reinstall. Go back to where you found the Scottbot folder and delete the entire thing. Install the bot again and the issue should be solved.

Fix #2:

These crashes may be caused by having a bad network connection. If you're running Scottbot on a device using WiFi, we recommend trying to run it using an Ethernet cable. If that's not possible for you, try on your device and consider purchasing a Wireless Access Point to increase the strength of your connection.

Errors

TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined

This is due to a authentication server timeout ban, please refrain from opening the software too many times in a short period of time or you risk this, as the server sees it as an attacker. To bypass this, wait ~45 minutes or activate the product on a VPN, which can be found on Google for free.

General Key Error

Try sending @scottbotv1 the follolwing command via Discord: !deactivate

This is usually caused by an error of having different PC info stored in our servers vs your PC's info. It could also be due to a different key being in your settings.json file than the one that you are starting the bot up with.

Object has been destroyed

Proxy save error

This is usually caused by invalid permissions on the proxies.json, navigate to it from the URL path above, and then change the file permissions so that the bot can edit the proxy file.

Server down on ATC

Go to your settings and change the request timeout back to 15000

A JavaScript error occurred in the main process

Force quit then reboot

INVAL_PC_INFO_REQUEST

Use () to kill the bot in the task manager and launch a new instance, this is to curb running of multiple instances on one machine.

This could mean one of two things: 1. You need to install 2. If you're running on a server, and have Node and Chocolatey installed, the server is most likely not compatible with Scottbot
